Commodities Futures Trading Leading to Success

Commodities Futures Trading is rather an ancient business. Truth be told not futures trading, but the so called commodities trading first emerged in Japan in some 18th century, surely it was rice and silk that were traded, then it expanded to the today's Netherlands, and of course tulips were traded there. And it took some century for commodities trading to reach America, where some early-existing markets were created to transmit grains and other wide-spread goods, including first of all corn. Here immediate and future transactions were available. Those contracts were today's futures trading predecessors.

There are three kinds of trading items including commodities (first of all only their prices and then some other qualities> are taken into account ), labour and currency. Nowadays commodities futures trading can deal with metals, grains, timber, various materials, fruits and vegetables, software, equipment, oil, engines, etc. Bear in mind that the first true market futures trading appeared in Chicago, the US, in the middle of the 1970s. The main commodities futures trading markets were and are, and surely will be, CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange), London Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE), Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). But nowadays there are much more of them: some megalopolises boast even two and they are NYC, Chicago, Tokyo, London. So today it's easy to find one futures trading exchange almost in every other country. The US has the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) that was created in 1974 and is a highly efficient futures trading controller.

Commodities rights can be transmitted while on-line futures trading using some particular software. There are several futures trading concepts (if you are interested in methods see for more information futures trading methods and tools).
